The Attorney

Rohit Chhabra holds a bachelors (graduated 2001) and masters (graduated 2005) in computer science along with a Juris Doctor degree (graduated 2011). He assists clients all over the United States. He has successfully protected innovations in the fields of mobile applications, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence, kernel level security, augmented/virtual reality, ad-tech, and fin-tech. He caters to the needs of both US and international clients.

Mr. Chhabra is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a software developer at EDS (now a subsidiary of HP). While at EDS, he developed Medicaid applications for various state governments, including the (internal/backend) systems currently being used by the governments of Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida for processing Medicaid claims. Rohit has formerly also worked as a network security analyst designing and securing network infrastructures for small businesses.

Before starting his own practice, Rohit was an attorney at one of the top law firms in Silicon Valley, where he was extensively trained by one of the leading attorneys in the area. There, Rohit focused on prosecution, appeals, and litigation support, including, freedom-to-operate, due diligence, and infringement opinions. Mr. Chhabra has represented technology giants like Apple and EMC.

Mr. Chhabra is licensed to practice state law in California and New York. However, since patent law is under federal jurisdiction, he represents clients at the USPTO throughout the US and internationally.
